Just a reminder that the next Barrhead Chariots Car Club meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 7:00 pm, at my home:
5115-49 Ave.in Barrhead.
We will be planning for the Antique Car Run from Fort Assiniboine to Barrhead which is scheduled for Saturday, May 24, 2025. Things are moving along with this project but there are still a few things to be done.
Another item planned for the Wednesday Car Club Meeting is the first training session for the Alberta Highway Clean-up program.
Each participant in the Clean-up program needs to take the training so if you are planning on joining in please consider coming to this meeting.
Alberta Transportation assigned the Car Club to clean ditches along Highway 33 from Range Road 43 to Range Road 50. That is about 11 km. To do that amount of ditch cleaning we would need 22 volunteers. At this time we only have 9, so we do need more volunteers.
We will use the money earned from the Highway Clean-up program to pay expenses for putting on out two Car Shows.
Please let me know if you can pitch in and help with the Clean-up Program.

First, the Antique Car Run from Fort Assiniboine to Barrhead
- breakfast is planned starting at 8:30 am in Fort Assiniboine
- vehicles park next to the Fort Assiniboine Museum from 9:00 am to 11:00 am
- at 11:00 vehicles move to Mainstreet Barrhead where they are on display
until 2:30 pm,
- there is no registration fee for this event and no prizes are issued
