- Stan opened the meeting with prayer and called the meeting to order at 7.08 pm.
- Minutes of the January 10, 2024 Car Club meeting were read. Rod moved acceptance of the minutes with minor corrections. Carried
- Financial Report:
- The Club’s Bank Balance at March 13, 2024 was $1069.89
- Millie Scheuerman audited and approved the Club’s 2023 Financial Statements
- The Club’s Alberta Annual Society’s Return was filed for 2024

- Items Completed for the 2024 Antique Car Run included:
- Rod left a phone message for Marrilyn at Pembina Pipelines asking if Pembina Pipelines would sponsor the breakfast in Fort Assiniboine for the event. Rod also sent an email to Pembina Pipelines head office through their Community Events

- Laurent had posters for the event made up by staff at the Ripple Connection
- Rod found that Northern Cruisers charges a fee for advertising so did not go forward with an ad there as it was not an approved budget item. It was decided to not put an ad in the Norther Cruisers this year.
- Town of Barrhead approved the Special Event Application for the Antique Car Run
- Special Event Insurance was obtained through Stutchbury Insurance for the Antique Car Run for $145.20
- 31 entrants to the Club’s previous Show and Shines were emailed inviting them to participate in the 2024 Antique Car Run and the 2024 Show and Shine
- Items yet to be completed for the 2024 Antique Car Run
- Rod to confirm that Peter Staley will provide a food concession for the Antique Car Run in Barrhead
- Rod to arrange for advertisement of the Antique Car Run in the Barrhead Leader one week prior to the event
- Rod to contact other Car Clubs to let them know about the 2024 Antique Car Run and the 2024 Show and Shine
- Stuart to post Ads on Face Book for the 2024 Antique Car Run and the 2024 Show and Shine
- Stan to provide oldies music for the event in Barrhead
- Parking to be done in Barrhead by Stuart, Leonard, Mark and Rod
- Parking in Fort Assiniboine to be handled by Fort Assiniboine Friendship Club
- Stuart will organize the leaving of vehicles from Fort Assiniboine
- Stan will try to video portions of the Antique Car Run and post it to U-Tube
- Rod to write the local RCMP Detachment and ask them to escort vehicles from Fort Assiniboine to Barrhead.
- Stan moved that the 2024 Show and Shine be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
- Stuart to ask for a quote from The Back Forty in Barrhead for 20 T-Shirts for the 2024 Show and Shine (5 XXXL, 5XXL, 5Xl and 5 L) with a picture of the 2023 Show and Shine People’s Choice winning vehicle on the front
- Stan moved that the Club change the prizes for the 2024 Show and Shine Category Winners to either a clock with a decal or a goodies basket. Seconded by Leonard. Carried Stan will look into the cost and availability of clocks.
- The Date and Time for the Club’s Summer Social at Derek and Sabine’s is yet to be determined.
- Informal Club gatherings at local restaurants will begin at Dairy Queen in Barrhead on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 5:00 pm
